Car and truck accidents can happen suddenly; no one expects to be in one, and even one poor decision can change lives forever. Negligent drivers who disobey road laws and perform dangerous acts put everyone in danger. If you’ve been following the news in Texas, you may have heard about a crash that took the lives of two adults and an unborn child recently. Reports about the couple who were killed in east Texas have come in following the accident. A Jan. 26 report discussed the investigation and how the accident occurred.
According to the story, a man and his pregnant wife had been on their way to a baby shower in east nd were driving on State Highway 7 when the accident took place. The Department of Public Safety reported that a 16-year-old driver had been trying to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone when his truck hit the couple’s vehicle head-on.
The 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his wife passed away when she was being transferred to the hospital. There have been no reports on how the crash will be treated or if the police intend to pursue charges against the teen who caused the accident.
In tragic cases like this, there’s little that can be done to relieve the suffering of those who have lost loved ones. Compensation won’t make up for the loss, but it can help you pay for funeral costs, medical bills and outstanding debts that still need to be covered. With help, you can focus on healing while your case is taken to court for you.
