A couple who was recently injured in a gas station crash has suffered from serious injuries. Their family has now spoken out about the incident, according to a July 23 report, and has been discussing the well-being of the couple.
The report claims than the couple was pumping gas at a station in Texas when an SUV slammed into the gas station on Falvel Drive in Spring. Several people were hurt in the chaos, and two of those people included the 73-year-old woman and her 81-year-old husband. The couple are recovering from serious injuries including brain injuries, broken bones and other injuries.
The report states that the SUV collided with the gas station after running a red light. The SUV directly hit the couple’s vehicle, causing it to be shoved into another vehicle behind it. The couple’s daughter said that her father had been hit directly and landed on his head; her mother was more fortunate but still badly injured. Her mother is no longer in the hospital, but her father is still in critical condition at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
The 65-year-old woman who crashed at the scene may have been having some kind of medical issue, according to the Precinct 4 deputy constables. They have been investigating to try to determine what kind of medical condition the woman may have had to cause such a serious accident.
In cases like this one, people are lucky to be alive. Serious collisions can cause brain injuries, back injuries and other trauma that could need medical treatment for a long time. When you’re hurt by someone’s negligence, you may be able to seek compensation for that care, so you can get the help you need without concern for money.
